A Gender Agenda
A Gender Agenda
A Gender Agenda aims to be an informational resource for transgender, intersex, genderqueer and other gender variant people and their supporters. We provide information and support for individuals, families, government bodies and other institutions. Our primary goal for the near future is to build a strong and supportive community for all ages, and all kinds of sex and gender diverse people. Our group currently includes transgendered people, transsexuals, genderqueers, straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, third gender, intersexed people, and the partners and children of such people. We try to be as inclusive and supportive of all diversity as we possibly can.

I am a sex-positive sex therapist, counsellor and sex educator. I am also the founder and creator of Pleasure Salon Melbourne.

I have over 20 years experience studying and understanding sex and sexuality. No matter how you identify, what you’re into, your relationship status or how you approach sex and intimacy, I work closely with my clients to develop a personal approach to addressing and teaching sexuality or exploring sexual issues and concerns. This could include discussing everything from physical experiences, fantasies and turn-ons through to relationship dynamics and fostering better communication skills to encourage you to identify where blockages may be and how you can alter your approach to working with them.

I have counselled clients within the sex /gender diverse communities and their partners and families around a variety of issues to support their processes from early transition through to family dynamics, renegotiating / re-establishing partnerships, work and other life roles. I have also  hosted forums with leaders in the gender diverse community  - primarily Pleasure Forum Australia.

I am a clinical registered member of CAPAV (Counselling & Psychotherapy Assoc of Vic) and a member of Society of Australian Sexologists. My qualifications include a Masters in Sexual Health, a Grad Dip of Counselling and Human Services, a Grad Dip in Applied Linguistics and a Bachelor of Education (Adult).

Freedom Centre
Freedom Centre
Freedom Centre is here to support young people (under 26) and their communities to be informed, happy and healthy about their sexuality, sex and gender.

Our drop-in centre is a safe space to hang out, have fun, meet other LGBTIQQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Intersex, Queer & Questioning) young people and get peer-support and info if you need it.

Our website includes a discussion forum and heaps of useful info and links. This website has useful resources for young people outside of Perth and Western Australia too.

We also have a monthly session, GenderQ, that is for young people who are trans or gender diverse or are questioning their sex and/or gender.
