Coming Out Proud Program
The Coming Out Proud Program (COPP) provides strategies to allow GLBTI people in the Tasmanian regions to ‘come out with pride’ and live in their community with dignity as fully respected and participating members. COPP works at a local/regional level through Community Liaison Committees and at a state level through the Tasmanian Council for Sexual & Gender Diverse People Inc. Tasmanian regions include Greater Hobart, Kingborough/Huon, Greater Launceston/East Coast, and the Cradle Coast (North West/West Coast).

Geelong Trans
Geelong Trans
Geelong Trans is a home for transgender people in Geelong and western Victoria. The group exists mainly for social networking and support.

Our email list is the first specifically trans space for Geelong and western Victoria. It is for cross-dressers, transvestites, Tgirls, transsexuals, people who are DQ, GQ, or all of the above. Intersex people and supportive LGB folks are welcome too.

Geelong Trans was born from my own desire to connect locally with transpeople in Geelong. I feel it’s important for those in regional areas to have our own ‘home’ where we can meet our own needs.
