Family Access Network (FAN)
We provide transitional housing for young people aged 15-25 who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness. We have two properties specifically for SSATI (same-sex attracted, transgender and intersex) young people. These properties are available to anyone residing in Victoria. We also have a weekly support group for SSATI young people. It’s a great place to meet people, chat, learn and have fun.

FAN also manages a state – wide Housing Establishment Fund for young people who identify as SSATI. This funding is for financial assistance towards rent in advance, rent in arrears, Bond, removalists or white goods costs if you have are moving or living in a private rental property. To apply for this funding please contact the Private Rental Brokerage Worker at FAN.

Flat Out Inc. is a state wide advocacy and support service for women (with/without children) who have had contact with the criminal justice and/or prison system in Victoria.

* support women who are exiting prison or who are at risk of being imprisoned, by providing access and referrals to appropriate and affordable transitional, supported, private, public or community housing
* provide and link women to appropriate support, education and information to re-establish them in the community post-release
* work with women to prevent their re-incarceration.

The Lighthouse Foundation provides housing and support for disenfranchised young people. While being a generalist service, Lighthouse aims to be accessible to GLBTIQ young people and sensitive to diversity.

We provide homeless young people who come from backgrounds of long term neglect and abuse with a home, a sense of family and around the clock therapeutic care. Through their Lighthouse experience, the young people heal, learn again to relate to others and rebuild their lives.
